Behind Petals & the Plume, is Melissa.
I haven’t always been a wedding celebrant or a floral designer but I’ve always been a true dreamer at heart.
My story is anything but conventionnal. This is precisely what allows me today to create bespoke ceremonies – Heartfelt, free and deeply human ones.
My absolute go-to is travelling — whether it be across the globe, through dancing, music, beautiful words, cinema…or flowers!
After more than a decade spent kindling young curious minds, I turned to a new love language: that of flowers. And since first loves are rarely ones we tend to forget, my love for words has led me to embrace yet another role—that of a wedding celebrant. With flowers and la plume together in hand, I craft ceremonies that tell your story with sincerity, delicacy, poetry—and a (gentle) touch of wit.

Based in Menton on the French Riviera, I travel where love carries me — I’ll go wherever you go — from the sunlit shores of the Côte d’Azur to its snowy mountains, through hidden gardens or misty woods, near or far.
My mission? Being the voice and guiding thread of your wedding or elopement ceremony.
